Aware Meeting Room for PwC

Many of us have attended mandatory meetings and thought, "this could have all been in an email instead of wasting my time." In an effort to maximize individual proficiency, PwC sought to develop a smart meeting room interface within each of their conference rooms that would track time spent versus each individual's billable rate to highlight the amount of money lost or saved.

Individual profiles and their bill rates are stored within the Aware mobile app. Once the meeting is activated, a timer will keep track of time passed while simultaneously adding money accrued and wasted. As time continues to pass, tips will appear to encourage ending the meeting to meet a higher reward and lower the risk of going over your estimated costs. This gamification of tracking meeting times with bill rates and estimated project costs brings awareness to the amount of resources lost to long laborious meetings and encourages teams to work and manage their time effectively.
